Transition Manager

Job Description:

  • The Transition Manager will be responsible for the development and successful delivery of wave plans as part of the wider integrated plan, working closely with the business, GFO and Accenture to ensure all detailed planning activities have been completed such as scoping, resourcing, IT requirement gathering etc.

  • Partner with the Program and Transition leads to ensure that wave plans are developed in line with the overall program governance.

  • Partner closely with GFO, Accenture, IT and key Business Unit stakeholders to ensure workstream plans are delivered on time and that the BU’s are adequately supported. This will require strong transition management and ensuring all deliverables are tracked closely.

  • Report Risks and Issues effectively and ensure mitigation and action plans are developed to close these out Skills and behaviours.

  • Established and proven project manager who can develop and deliver projects within tight timeframes, and is able to drive cross functional teams to successful project completion.

  • Relationship building and influencing ability both inside and outside the organisation – key to working in a complex and matrixed organisation.

  • Results orientated with an excellent track record of success.

  • Excellent communication skills and can influence across all divisional and functional groups.

  • Organised and can cope well under time pressure.

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and work with people through the change journey Specific work experience.

  • Significant Finance Transformation & Business change experience in this type of transition.

  • Strong Controllership & Operational Finance experience.

  • Experience of working within a Shared Service/BPO environment.

  • Media & Entertainment experience not essential, but beneficial.

  • Excellent program/project management skills.

Qualifications:

  • B.A. or B.S. degree with significant experience in project management, related to transition work.

  • 7+ years of experience as a Project Manager.

  • Demonstrated success in management of technical development projects using agile methodologies.

  • Knowledge of tools necessary to perform this role: MS Project, PPT, Word, Visio, etc.

  • PMP (desirable).

  • Media/Entertainment and/or Marketing Industry experience (desirable).

  • Can-do attitude; thorough, detail oriented.
