  • Full Time- 8am - 5pm Or 7am - 4pm

  • Description:
    Position supports CLIENT Project/Program needs for

  • Welding/test equipment design, fabrication, setup, operation and maintenance.

  • Welding/test equipment procedure development.

  • Manual welding and laboratory support.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Experience in manual welding (SMAW, GMAW, GTAW).

  • Experience in designing and building mockup configurations and test systems.

  • Proficiency in SolidWorks/CAD design software is a plus

  • Mechanical/materials testing equipment operation experience (e.g., impact, hardness)

  • Strong attention to detail and laboratory data collection/documentation skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Powerpoint is a plus

  • General materials knowledge (basic recognition of material types and specifications)

  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently to accomplish assigned tasks

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to follow through on bringing conceptual thoughts to reality.

  • Proficient communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Strong work ethic with the ability to multitask and work in a team environment

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Interface with client Project Managers, clients, members to develop test matrix and procedures, review of test results and milestones, and planning.

  • Establish specifications, order, and setup of testing equipment, archiving/storage of materials,  and develop tooling to execute project requirements.

  • Execute material testing (under guidance of PM) and welding development programs or study as directed by PM and document all required data and information for PM

  • Provide testing and welding support for miscellaneous client program needs; such as fixturing, and mockups.

Educational Requirements:

  • Require General Education requirements for High School Diploma, Certifications (welding, Safety, programing, etc.).

  • Technical degree or pursuing a technical degree a plus, or equivalent in on the job training/experience
