Job Description: 

Hybrid Position :(Hybrid, may be required to come into the office with 24 hours of notice)

• Prepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documents, including hardware and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation.

• Gather and analyze technical and product information from various sources to document new or changing product functionality.

• Write, format, edit, review, and proof procedural and technical information for technical and non-technical users.

• Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking documentation work to meet product release dates and client deliverables.

• Maintain a library of application documentation, cataloging it for internal and/or external use.

• Maintain templates for written documentation produced by others (technical specifications, customer facing, etc.), ensuring a consistent "look and feel."

What skills you will use:

• Associates degree with a focus on English, writing and communications or at least 3 years' experience in technical writing.

• Familiarity with Ethernet link, PHY, cable, Ethernet switches, and MAC/PHY architecture is a bonus.

• Experience in creating documentation in various arenas (written, Wiki, AI, etc.) for audiences with different levels of technical skill.

• Project and process management

• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.

• Ability to read some programming code.

Experience within the following document preparation tools is desired:

• Microsoft office (Word, Visio, Power Point, Teams)

• FrameMaker

• Adobe Acrobat

• DITA

• Wiki

• SharePoint

• Adobe Illustrator

• Shift Hours: 8am-5pm

• Shift Days: Monday-Friday
