Job Description:

The Staff Technical Support Engineer will have the primary responsibility of addressing and resolving complex issues within our platform. This role involves serving as the ultimate escalation point within our technical support department and guiding junior team members in mastering various technologies. The ideal candidate should be capable of swiftly grasping the intricacies of our system. Given its customer-facing nature, this role demands not only strong technical skills but also excellent interpersonal abilities.

Qualifications for Success:

To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should possess:

• Troubleshooting Skills: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical issues and understand problem statements.

• Cloud and Web Knowledge: Working knowledge of components in cloud/web applications, as well as a strong understanding of the HTTP/HTTPS Request & Response Cycle.

• Scripting Experience: Familiarity with scripting languages, with a preference for JavaScript.

• Networking Proficiency: Working knowledge of networking, email infrastructure/protocols, web services (REST & SOAP), and authentication mechanisms (Single Sign-on, LDAP).

• Programming Skills: Basic object-oriented programming skills, with a preference for Java.

• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly articulate technical solutions.
