  • Technical Program Manager Sr, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administration

  • The Technical Program Manager for Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Administration is part of a key technical team that delivers significant business value to clienr.

  • The position partners with internal stakeholders to develop, design, build and launch SFMC solutions.

  • This position interacts with people in both business (Marketing) and technical roles to create specifications and resolve issues with an eye toward continuous improvement.

  • This position works across department and functional lines on a variety of programs that range in scope, risk, and complexity.

  • Demonstrating an understanding of the SFMC system architecture down to the core components.

  • Contributing to design reviews and actively participating in the design review process.

  • Assisting with technical documentation to ensure it meets the needs of various audiences.

  • Monitoring SFMC Automations, and other services, proactively alerting stakeholders and partners of interrupted jobs and services.

  • Creating SFMC support cases.

  • Working with stakeholders and partners to bring cases/issues to resolution.

  • Participating in technical design discussions and assists trade-off discussions by explaining user impact of different options.

  • Troubleshooting SFMC system and data issues by both interacting with functionality and querying the underlying data layers.

  • Anticipating and conveying impacts of proposed architectural changes to implementation team and stakeholders.

  • We need a skilled SFMC administrator to manage our instances of Marketing Cloud, help guide our partners with their Ad Hoc requests, and to perform other SFMC related duties as warranted.


  • 4+ years of experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), including hands on experience with:

  • Email Studio (Queries, Data Extensions, triggered sends, UI sends, etc)

  • Mobile Studio (Mobile Push, Mobile Connect)

  • Automation Studio

  • Basic knowledge of Content Builder (AMPScript, etc.)

  • An intermediate to advanced level understanding of SOAP/REST API

  • Experience with Jira and Confluence

  • Experience translating requirements into user stories and actionable acceptance criteria


  • A 4 year degree in related field or equivalent experience

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist certification

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant certification preferred
