These opportunities report to the Design Section inside of the Advanced Development Programs business unit.

Responsibilities:
Create and modify CAD models of spacecraft structures and mechanisms in Creo Parametric 6.0 using top-down design methods
Create drawings from CAD models of designs for metallic and composite materials
Use Creo applications for piping and harness routing for fluid systems drawings including GD & T annotations
Create models and drawings of components, joints, and assemblies
Deliver clean geometry suitable for creating Finite Element Models
Incorporate drafting standards and standard drawing notes based on company, program, and industry standards.
Perform model and drawing check activities during release reviews.
Qualifications:
Experience with automotive, aircraft, spacecraft, or launch vehicle structures.
Some experience with top-down design methods would be helpful.
Strong skills using Creo Parametric / ProE software and Windchill.
Proficient in standard fits, tolerance stacks, and GD&T analysis (ASME Y14.5).
Strong experience in drawing generation, checking, and release processes.
Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Mandatory: Operate Creo CAD and preferably with the PLM Windchill to create drawings and 3D model
Desired:
Experience selecting standard aerospace hardware (fasteners, bushings, washers, pins, etc)
Experienced with creating drawings of composite primary structures for aerospace.
Experience working in a cross-functional team responsible for selecting materials, manufacturing processes, and developing the design to produce world-class engineered products.
Ability to use Creo to create drawings using GD & T to provide drawings and to design models that are manufacturable.
Mandatory Skills:
3 years of Creo CAD and the PLM Windchill drawing creation and GD&T knowledge.
Desired Skills:
Setup datums, GD&T, Dimensional Stack up analysis, capability studies and Assembly BOM.
