Job Description:

Skills required: Windows and Linux, Troubleshoot, ticketing, Team handling

• The Systems Engineer ensures that the performance and availability of the systems infrastructure is maintained to the highest standards.

• Implement and manage projects in support of scalable system designs, solutions and policies, troubleshoot and resolve complex server issues and build and administer various software systems within the portfolio.

• Create functional specs and project planning documents to effectively plan and implement key initiatives.

• Monitor call-tracking system by investigating and resolving trouble tickets.

• Maintain Windows and Unix systems.

• Work with Network, storage, and backup systems.

• Update Windows and Linux patches.

• Assist with VMware and Cloud migration.

• Manage multiple test and production environments triaging and resolving operational issues working with development teams on system design and performance tuning and designing and implementing database and server security protocols.

• Work directly with internal customers to provide analysis, recommendations and solutions for creating, upgrading, and integrating, applications.
