Content Marketing Sr. Manager, Canada

Key responsibilities:

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Content Marketing for an Entertainment company. 

  • They should be able to think strategically but not shy away from the tactical aspects of the role and be able to roll up their sleeves and get the job done, particularly with respect to asset management and delivery. 

  • They should be a born organizer and multi-tasker, have impeccable people and computer skills, and be able to juggle several hundred plates at once.  

  • They will be able to adapt their style and use persuasion to deliver complex messages to diverse audiences.

Basic Qualifications

  • Serve as an “ambassador” for key title releases coming out of CLIENT CA and other EN Marketplaces (and to a lesser extent FR), with an emphasis on CA CLIENT Originals and “Only from CLIENT ” content. Translate CA strategic objectives and KPIs into 360° Marketing campaigns and operational plans for marquee titles in EN and FR, including full stakeholder coordination (inclusive of Acquisition, Engagement, Social, Influencer and PR) and ownership. 

  • ACA FTE (Full Time Equivalent):  Yes

  • Provide comprehensive recaps on key title performance, and act as a feedback loop for the Content team in terms of title performance across key metrics, helping to inform future Content decisions and commissions.

  • Manage (high profile) talent and IP relationships in support of our Content Marketing plans; work with Sr. Director, Brand to support production of campaign creative from vision through to full asset delivery. 

  • Strive for excellence regarding consumer marketing assets.  Brief in-house and external creatives with a view of creating premium assets which position our Content as the next “must listen” and reaffirms CLIENT credentials within the wider entertainment industry.

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders (Performance Marketing, Legal, Merchandising, Marketing, Business Affairs, Studios, etc.) on the delivery of quality and timely Original Content assets not originating from CA. Work with freelance creatives to modify non-CA originating assets for local needs, where appropriate.

  • Support Project Managers in building a working backwards timeline for the delivery and trafficking of critical creative assets in support of Marketing campaigns.

  • Work with BI and cross-functional leads to gather and track campaign results against agreed upon KPIs (from launch – 90 days post launch) and share key learnings with relevant business functions.   

  • Lead global peers in the management of multi-territory campaigns and share best practices across CLIENT internationally. 

  • Manage the Influencer agency and/or ad-hoc Influencer programs regarding quarterly content prioritization and partner with the Social and Marketing teams regarding approvals and channeling of results to relevant business functions. 

  • Assist the Sr. Director, Brand & Content Marketing and agency resources in the execution and delivery of the CLIENT Events consumer strategy targeting specific affinity groups; including third-party sponsorship planning through to on-site execution to drive further consideration of audio. 

  • Content Marketing experience in the media/Entertainment industry (production, film, game, television etc.) with a strong understanding of Talent, IP and campaign management.

  • An understanding of digital content and subscription services (either download to own and/or streaming) would be a bonus.
