Your primary responsibility will be to build a Slack bot in python, using the Slack API's Socket Mode.
This bot will use internal and external data to serve user-specific targeting recommendations to sales reps, to help them understand which accounts they should spend time on for new sales, upsells, and churn prevention.
As our full-stack engineer, you will closely with the GTM intelligence team and cross-functional partners to understand the problems this tool is trying to solve, and you will have significant input into the design process.
You will then be chiefly responsible for building the bot, and getting it to a stage that a team of analysts and engineers could inherit and maintain.
use python to build a bot using the Slack API (with Socket Mode)
[nice to have] build frontend to visualise interactive network graphs
data engineering: pull data programmatically from various sources (Hive/Snowflake), transform it, and store it in a local database (e.g. postgres) for the bot to access
[nice to have] knowledge of machine learning (e.g. anomaly detection, decision trees) and graph theory
user centricity: willingness to listen to users (sales people), deeply understand the problems facing them, and take their feedback on board to iterate on the user experience and prediction engine
good code hygiene: code should be clearly documented and checked in to a shared repository so members of the GTM Intelligence team can also work on it
Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in computer science or a related discipline
