Experienced in delivering large scale enterprise software applications using Agile development methodologies preferably in the Financial Services industry.
Experienced at solving complex and large-scale software problems.
Experienced in Java/.Net/C++ based Technology Stacks, Open Source Technologies, Enterprise Integration, Data & Analytics, DevOps and UI/UX.
Experienced in enhancing Multi-Tenant, Internationalized, Micro Services based Cloud native applications.
Experienced in deploying applications to Public Cloud environments such as Azure or AWS.
Experienced at recruiting, training, developing, and retaining a motivated team of technical professionals across geographies.
Experienced in project management with strong time management, and problem-solving skills.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
As a member of the Development leadership team; provide strategic leadership around application maintenance, development, platform capacity and utilization, as well as resource planning.
Partner with Product Management to build and execute strategy that will enable our business to achieve its aggressive growth plans, improve speed to market and reduce operating expenses.
Drive continual improvement within the application development and maintenance area. Enable and support process excellence and process improvements.
Provide strong leadership to geographically dispersed teams. Recruit, hire, retain and develop top talent within the function. Measure team against key performance indicators.
Develop and lead the implementation of multiple projects and initiatives in a fast-paced, challenging environment with multiple priorities.
Deal with competing client and product team needs.
Create a culture within the technology organization that rewards success, promotes accountability, and encourages collaboration.
Establish and proactively enhance the service delivery model to ensure that the expectations between the business and technology are achieved.
Responsible for identifying appropriate resources needed to accomplish tasks and developing schedules to ensure timely project completion.
