Job Description:

Location:

  • Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, all Service Desk agents are currently working from home although this may change in the future.

  • For now, you will be provided a desktop PC, 2 monitors, a keyboard, a mouse, & a headset.

  • You must have a quiet location in your home to setup this equipment as well as reliable home internet.

  • Environment: The Service Desk is the first point of contact for all IT issues.

Contacts may be regarding:

  • Password reset & account management

  • Workstation hardware/software troubleshooting

  • Software installations

  • Windows file/print servers

  • AS400/iSeries servers

  • Network issues

  • iOS device configuration

  • Client-specific applications

Duties:

  • Provide first level support for customers over telephone, chat, email, and web.

  • Maintain a high rate of First Call Resolution.

  • Properly escalate tickets to the correct Level 2 team.

  • Reference a knowledge base of solutions; suggest updates to these solutions as necessary.

  • Produce accurate & complete documentation of the issue & your actions.

  • Comply with & ensure compliance with security & regulatory requirements.
