Job Description:

  • Senior Manager partners closely with US Brand Finance Teams, Market Access & Pricing, Corporate Accounting, Business Controls and external auditors. This role provides significant development in financial analytics, commercial model and cross matrix leadership.

Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to):

  • Business partner with Market Access and Finance Brand teams.

  • Manage gross to net budgeting, projections, strategic planning in partnership with Market Access & Pricing and Brand Finance teams.

  • Prepare gross to net sales analysis and provide strategic insights to leaders in the organization into drivers and by sales segment.

  • In partnership with other teams analyze and model any potential changes in the health care policies or contracting setup.

  • Manage period close process – prepare monthly/quarterly gross to net adjustments and account reconciliations for quarter-end financial close, including validating adequacy of accrual balances.

  • Coordinate planning for Pharma fee as well as analysis and reconciliation process.

  • Execute regular net price analysis.

  • Maintain and update the internal control environment for all areas associated with gross to net as well as support internal/external audits and annual SOX process in partnership with the Business Controls group.

  • Assess channel mix trends, accrual rates and market evolution to make GTN accrual adjustments

  • Work with market access & pricing and finance brand teams to create GTN forecast.

  • Monthly accrual analysis and adjustments reporting using existing template.

  • Quarterly Price-Volume mix analysis reporting using existing template.

  • Key contact to Market Access and Finance Brand teams for select products.

  • Standardization of analysis files and visuals across all brands.

  • Prepare and present materials summarizing actual variances vs. latest projection.

  • Analyze and model any potential changes in the health care policies or contracting setup, if applicable.

Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Working effectively across a matrix organization and influencing others at all levels

  • Working knowledge of SAP, SAP BI, Hyperion and strong excel skills

  • Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting or Economics with 7+ years of professional experience

  • Solid accounting understanding is a must.
