The main function of an administrative assistant is to provide high-level administrative support by conducting research, handling information requests and performing clerical functions.
A typical administrative assistant acts as information and communication managers for an office.
Lead training and enrichment of department staff.
Develop and maintain daily/weekly/monthly reports and KPIs to ensure operational excellence.
Producing and distribution of department reports to various groups/stakeholders within the Supply Chain network.
Run daily Open Order and Goods Issued reports to identify shipping and in-transit status within the SAP system.
Exercise judgment within defined practices and policies in selection of methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
Actively support team projects and effectively communicate with team members.
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Must have 5+ years of experience.
3+ years experience with 3PL warehousing, transportation and account/order management.
Must have Soft Skills:
Ability to complete tasks and solve problems with limited guidance and direction.
Demonstrates a strong work ethic and ability to learn.
Excellent problem solving, decision making, and analytical skills.
Ability to support weekend, holidays, and overtime requirements as needed.
Ability to travel as needed.
