Job Description:

  • Coordinate between cross functional teams (IT, Lab Operations, Facilities, & Environmental Health & Safety), fill out and track progress of support tickets in ticketing systems, and represent Product Sciences in appropriate meeting forums, to ensure lab equipment and facilities are functioning optimally and maintained on an appropriate schedule. Relay information to team to communicate changes, and gain feedback on Lab Operations. Prioritize a strong focus on maximizing the potential of the lab space to fit the teams needs, and plan for future needs as the team grows.

  • Lead and coordinate detailed sample and reagent management for all Product Sciences programs, including cryogenic, and sub-zero storage as well as refrigerated and room temperature items. Oversee and organize Product Sciences inventories, facilitate sample and reagent coordination across Product Sciences Team sites, and procure critical materials as needed to support execution of lab work in Product Sciences.

  • Lead critical efforts to maintain tumor cell lines in culture using aseptic techniques, and coordinate with team members to prepare sub-cultures for the execution of cell-based immunoassays.

  • Initiate on-boarding/welcome of new team members, ensure that general onboarding requirements are completed and act as a resource/liaison to help integrate new members into the team.

  • Lead team building, and event planning to bring the team together for non-work-related fun!

  • Potential to expand role, to develop and execute complex cellular immunoassays for the characterization of critical samples within cell therapy programs.

Basic Qualifications:

  • B.S. degree in Immunology, or related field with 0-3 years of relevant experience

  • Experience with lab-based work in a BSL2 environment and cryogenic storage practices

  • Experience with in vitro cell culture systems (i.e., maintaining cell lines and/or primary cells in culture) and comfortable with using aseptic techniques

  • Proven ability to work in a high paced team environment, meet deadlines, & prioritize work across multiple projects

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

  • Values detail orientation, teamwork, efficiency and organization skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with human T cell biology

  • Experience with in vitro T cell functional assays

  • Experience with multi-parameter flow cytometry

  • Experience with data visualization software and/or coding-based data analysis (i.e., Prism, JMP, R or Python)

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel
