​​​Job Description:

  • In this individual contributor, lab-based role, the Research Associate will work in a collaborative environment to generate quality reagents in house and manage the critical reagent inventory to support routine testing in Analytical Operation and Clinical QC. This position will report to the Manager of the critical reagent management team in Analytical Operation. Key responsibilities include:

  • Generate and qualify critical reagent in house to support routine testing.

  • Timely and thorough documentation and completion of electronic laboratory notebooks.

  • Monitor the critical reagent performance and work closely with AD/AO method owner for troubleshooting.

  • Support of P&AD activities across the entire portfolio, include inventory management, key stakeholder collaboration, strategic planning, and coordination between multiple sites and functions.

  • Partnering with Analytical/Clinical Operations, Method Development groups, Data Automation groups, and CellCore to plan and transfer critical reagents/controls.

  • Author certification of testing for critical reagents generate in house.

  • Order, track, maintain inventory of lab supplies, reagents, and equipment.

Required Qualifications

  • BS in a scientific discipline with 1-3 years (1+ years with MS) of relevant academic or industry lab experience.

  • Strong organizational skills and sense of responsibility, accountability, passion, and integrity.

  • Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory notebook and documentation.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively work both independently and in cross functional teams, meet deadlines, and prioritize multiple projects

  • Demonstrated experience with molecular assay, cell-based assay, or flow cytometry.

  • Experience working in a self-driven, performance/results oriented, fast paced matrix environment.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency utilizing MS Office products.

  • Able to creatively manage time and elevate relevant issues to manager

  • Strong scientific and technical writing and presentations

  • Detail oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills
