About the Position

Title: Receptionist   

Reports To: Corporate Facilities Manager or Facilities Site Manager


  • Serve as initial contact to visitors and callers.

  • The major function of the position is to efficiently channel calls to appropriate individuals, take messages, assist and/or direct visitors to office personnel.

  • The Receptionist also performs limited secretarial and clerical duties to contribute to the smooth functioning of the Company.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Answers all incoming calls. Routes calls to appropriate parties or takes messages. 

  • Greets visitors, determines the purpose of their visit and directs them to the appropriate office personnel. 

  • Assists with sorting and sending mail. 

  • Performs typing and other clerical duties as directed. 

  • Performs miscellaneous duties as directed.  

Education and Experience: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent and receptionist experience is required. 

  • Experience with MS Office products is desirable.

Skills and Attributes: 

  • Candidate must have good oral communications skills and possess familiarity with telephone communications systems.

  • Ability to relate well with the public is required-- greeting people in a pleasant manner; must have good disposition.

  • Must possess ability to type 45-50 wpm.
