Job Description:

  • Reporting to the Integrated Marketing Communications team, the client is looking for a project manager for a newly established global social media hub team to support global social marketing efforts, including social content campaigns, improvements in operational excellence, capacity tracking and reporting. 

  • The project manager will be expected to assist our team with managing projects with cohesive execution against our global social media strategy and connecting the dots between cross-functional teams.

  • This individual is highly detailed, organized, understands the planning processes for entertainment and programming content, and has a passion for creating process, managing competing priorities, delivering impact, and driving data-driven results.

  • This person will also understand the nuances of various social media platforms and how to drive against global targets and strategy.

  • This individual will possess excellent written and communication skills toward a variety of audiences internally and externally, understand how to prepare briefs and ask strategic questions to deliver innovative, cutting-edge work, and has a passion for elevating our audio entertainment products and content to audiences globally through our global social media work.  

  • Bringing strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to set priorities, multi-task, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, as a cross-functional collaborator, the ideal candidate will lead connecting the dots across a multitude of teams, leveraging skills of diplomacy and tact to drive alignment and forward momentum, seamlessly adapting to varied working styles on the team in service to the ultimate goal of a unified integrated marketing program with distribution across our Global social media channels.



  • Understand the importance of “breaking through” on social media with innovative creative approaches to social content across multiple platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok.

  • Partner with creative, media, influencer, and agency teams to manage timelines, processes and approvals in order for us to deliver groundbreaking, coordinated output on behalf of the global social hub team.

  • Works collaboratively, and hand-in-hand with cross functional partners on behalf of the global social hub team.

  • Champion of brand reputation on social media.

Capacity Planning/Assessment:

  • Log and maintain status on all Global Social Team projects in established capacity tool (Robohead).

  • Develop estimates and LOE on projects for prioritization.

  • Leads the scoping process and development of SOWs and project timelines.

  • Lead tracking and delivering weekly status reports on active and future projects.

  • Identify capacity across the team and manage assignment tracking.

Project Management:

  • Provides day-to-day project management support across a variety of initiatives ranging from campaigns to influencer to overall creative support for global social hub team.

  • Organizes, plans and leads projects, status and updates on behalf of global social hub team.

  • Serves as a project manager through development of comprehensive project plans and maintains templates and creative briefing tools for key initiatives.

  • Obtains appropriate approvals and initiates estimates for out-of-pocket for final approval.

  • Ensures project team and stakeholder alignment through execution while working closely with internal stakeholders and global social hub team members.

  • Collaborate with Global Social Campaigns lead and Marketplaces and Guidelines Lead on unified project fact sheets

  • Lead Global Social Team in tracking and communicating project status, deliverables, specs, dependencies, and potential issues to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Route assets and plans to internal stakeholders (eg. Legal) for approval as needed.

  • Track and plan budgets for internal and external resources.

  • Track and file documentation (creative briefs, contracts, reference items, etc).

  • Is the Global Social team single point of contact across the team for project management tools, asset management, and file management.

  • Understands and identify key inter-dependencies and critical path tasks, as well as anticipate potential issues

  • Assist Content Marketing team in submitting briefs and tracking creative deliverables for social media tool kits

  • Identifies, drives and implements improvements to existing processes that will improve efficiency and reduce churn for social team and business at large

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years in strategic social media project and campaign management.

  • Must have experience within brand social media; other candidates will not be considered.

  • Understands how to solve business problems using social media marketing strategy.

  • Has experience integrating social media into campaign narratives.

  • Has fluency in internet culture and innately understands consumer behavior across multiple social media channels.

  • Is highly collaborative and can bring different groups and cross-functional teams together in support of a social media campaign strategy.

  • Can execute against a global social strategy to inform project deliverables and output.

  • Comfort and discipline around social media data, analytics, performance monitoring.

  • Proven success in ideating and bringing to market a full funnel, 360 campaign on social media across multiple platforms and featuring celebrity and influencer talent.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working at a highly matrix, global brand.

  • Independent and autonomous—needs little direction, asks the right questions to get started and hits the ground running

  • Understands the nuances of a highly matrix organization- has the ability to seek appropriate stakeholder involvement and approvals processes.

  • Passion for project management.

  • Experience working in a global environment.

  • Experience working for an entertainment brand.

  • Demonstrated success as a self-starter, independent problem-solver.

  • Demonstrated creativity, with effective communication skills to bring ideas to a broad audience.

  • Experience collaborating within dynamic and matrixed organizations.
