This key role will be responsible for supporting several core functions of the SIE Logistics team.
In this role you will be responsible for supporting U.S.
Domestic Transportation operations and International Logistics.
Your tasks will include monitoring of parcel, LTL, FTL and 3PL partner performance, volume assessments and capacity impact communication, managing claims and related documentation across multiple transportation suppliers.
You will also support International Logistics; tracking and documentation in support of the LATAM region.
This role would support both B2B (business to business) and DTC (direct to consumer) transportation functions
Monitoring and Visibility:
Use TMS system, SAP and external sites to complete or customize reports to monitor performance of carriers and 3PL partners.
Track System success rate, identify and document root cause of failures and remediation
Develop communication path for escalation.
Provide disposition on Overage Shortage and Damage (OS&D) issues to Logistics partners and Finance team.
Handle all claim documentation and filing claims with our 3PL & parcel carriers.
Tracking status and resolution of filed freight claims.
Manage and provide customer specific reporting to be distributed to stakeholders.
Maintain relationships with our carriers and 3PLs operations and claims depts.
Complete & distribute documentation (i.e., commercial invoice and packing lists) for shipments in support of our LATAM region.
Build strong communication with project managers and regional stakeholders.
Support carrier billing, invoice processing, distribution, and approval process.
Other logistics related duties as priorities shift or in support of team schedules.
5 - 8 years in Logistics (consumer electronics or big box retail preferred).
Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience.
Direct experience managing small parcel carriers, FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc.
Direct experience with LTL , FTL and 3PL transportation and claims Management.
Direct experience with Freight Forwarders, Air and Ocean carriers.
Experience with creation of process documentation & controls.
Significant demonstrable experience with Mercury Gate, SAP, Visio, Excel, Tableau, or other ERP and TMS solutions.
Strong, demonstrable documentation and organizational skills.
Spanish speaking is a plus.
