​​​Job Description:

  • Summary:
    The Non-linear Operations Coordinator assists the manager with the day to day processes for streaming workflows.

  • This includes the maintenance of operational trackers, art assets processing, video components, metadata QC across platforms, among other tasks to fulfill Universal+ product needs.

  • This individual will work within the digital product team and will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure content is showcased effectively across all platforms. This position requires the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time, extreme attention-to-detail as well as an interest in the TV landscape and streaming entertainment.

  • Generate and distribute monthly nonlinear content schedule priority list to key stakeholders in a timely manner so that delivery requirements are met

  • Coordinate with linear operations the availability of video materials to ensure all components are in the system prior scheduling

  • Assist management as a backup with nonlinear content schedules for the Universal+ streaming apps,

  • and VOD deliveries

  • Work very closely with programming team, and help operationally with content stunts through creation of metadata, key dates, descriptions, etc

  • Request content artwork to the marketing design team, ensuring that deliveries are on track and all key stakeholders are kept informed of any delay that will prevent meeting content deadline

  • Upload and ensure all graphic assets are processed and available on the digital platforms, making sure key arts follow the current brand guidelines and meet our business needs for Universal+

  • Run and keep up to date the Electronic Programming guides per network, tracking all programming schedules changes/updates

  • Generate discrepancy report - as necessary to report any video and/or metadata inaccuracies

  • Attend planning and strategy meetings to discuss content rollouts

  • Monitor nonlinear VOD Rights trackers (programming windowing plans, presentations) as needed to track content processing requested.

  • Creates, organizes and manages playlist for all VOD deliveries

  • Delivers VOD monthly priority list

  • Assist manager with additional tasks as necessary

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital, or related field

  • 2+ years’ experience Media, Operations or entertainment industries - preferred

  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications

  • Spanish / English Language fluency (written and spoken)

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment & prioritize work

  • Understanding of metadata related programming/markup languages and syntaxes including, but not limited to: XML, JSON, HTML is a plus

Comments/Special Instructions

  • Role will begin as remote, and may potentially go onsite after return to work is in place. Not until 2022
