Job Overview:

• The primary role of Mechanical Design Engineer is to design and develop electromechanical products from concept to production and support sustaining products design activities.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• 5 or more years’ experience in electronics industry (networking products or comparable).

• Design and Manufacturing experience mandatory; design experience highly desirable.

Specialized Skills:

• Experienced and proficient with CAD tools such as CREO (Pro-E).

• PLM tools like Windchill & team center.

• DFx (cost, quality, reliability, manufacturability, assembly, etc..) knowledge.

• Familiar with BOM structure and other mfg documents and can write deviations and ECOs (engineering change orders).

• Can identify cost reduction and value engineering opportunities and assist with implementation.
