Job Description:

Our client is searching for a Bus mechanic for local school system. They should have experience with bus or large truck repair and maintenance. Mechanics must provide personal tools and tool boxes adequate to perform the tasks assigned to them.. Mechanics with ASE certification are preferred. Duties and requirements will include:

• Body systems and special equipment.

• Diesel engines.

• Drive train (to include automatic transmission)

• Brakes (air and hydraulic)

• Suspension and steering

• Electrical and electronic systems

• Air conditioning systems and controls

• School bus maintenance

• Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA)

• Commercial Driver License (CDL)

• Personal Tools and Tool box

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5 or more years experience with bus or large truck mechanic.

• Diesel maintenance experience.

• ASE certification is a plus.
