Job Description:
With minimal supervision, participate in the development and implementation of comprehensive marketing initiatives that enable programs, services, events and/or products to meet business objectives. Support cross-functional collaboration across the organization. Reports to the Assistant Director for Marketing Engagement.
Core Duties:
Work closely with members throughout Strategic Communications to develop and execute marketing strategies that support key initiatives such as brand awareness and engagement.
Execute marketing strategies to meet business objectives.
Implement marketing plans/programs to meet business objectives, including collaboration with
Stakeholders and vendor partners.
Write, edit and schedule select marketing communications which adhere to communications and Brand strategy for a variety of channels (i.e., web, print, email, online, social).
Project manage the design and production of select marketing materials, including use of project management systems.
Assess market opportunities and trends and conduct research.
May plan and execute events to support marketing objectives.
Manage the execution of communication for multiple programs incorporating appropriate channels.
Actively engage partners and draft content to promote and advertise communication on different outlets.
Assist in building and/or maintaining a digital community through social media channels and the web.
Proficient in creating brand awareness and engagement to build an active and participating audience through knowledge of current trends and content on all social media platforms.
Schedule and conduct related marketing meetings.
Support invoicing, securing receipts, and reconciling charges.
Coordinate vendor estimates and invoice processing.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Previous experience in product, program and/or services marketing.
Ability to work independently to meet expected deadlines and schedules.
Experience with managing projects.
Knowledge of marketing across channels including digital and print.
Familiar with market research and data analysis.
Creative problem solver.
Excellent oral and written skills.
Physical Requirements:
Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks.
Frequently stand/walk, sit, use a telephone, grasp lightly/fine manipulation, speaking.
Occasionally grasp forcefully, writing by hand.
Rarely sort/file paperwork.
Working Conditions:
Occasional work on evenings and weekends.
