Location: Bloomfield, CT/St. Louis, MO

Contract Duration: Long Term Contract with possibilities of extension

About the Opportunity: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized IT Asset Management/Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is at the heart of our network operations, responsible for managing our network assets and service-related contracts. As an IT Asset Management/Procurement Specialist, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our network infrastructure and ensuring the efficient management of our resources. Responsibilities:

  • Network Inventory Management: Maintain network inventory across multiple sites, ensuring accurate records and timely updates.

  • Project Support: Assist in projects requiring asset procurement and management.

  • Licensing and Software Renewals: Handle all licensing and software maintenance renewals throughout the year.

  • Vendor Collaboration: Work closely with external vendors to purchase hardware, software, and other necessary devices.

  • Inventory Shipping: Coordinate and fulfill inventory requests for various locations.

  • Asset Management Tools: Utilize asset management tools and, if possible, automate processes to improve efficiency.

  • Inventory Reporting: Provide scheduled inventory reports to track assets effectively.

  • Quality Control: Ensure quality control throughout the lifecycle of network devices.

  • Vendor Contract Compliance: Ensure compliance with vendor contracts.

  • Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs and resource allocation.

  • Standard Processes: Establish and maintain standard processes for network asset management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in management preferred OR equivalent work experience (4+ years).

  • Strong skills in infrastructure engineering and asset management.

  • Experience in contract management, procurement, and quality control.

  • Familiarity with shipping processes and logistics.

  • Proficiency in asset management tools and automation is a plus.
