Job Description:
Writes, edits, reviews and oversees release of internal communication documents and programs that support the organization. Edits and enhances internal communication materials, including intranet, newsletters, emails/memos, webcasts and speeches. Reviews and edits essential internal communications prior to dissemination to ensure accuracy, clarity, and appropriateness.
Client is a leading payments technology company, and is seeking a Director of Internal Communications to work alongside the VP of Internal Communications and the broader Corporate Communications team to enhance and support the company’s internal communications programs. This role will work closely with executive leadership and other organizational stakeholders to support an internal communications strategy that aligns with our company’s vision, culture and business goals.
Job Responsibilities :
Write, edit and manage the production of a wide range of internal communications focused on business strategy and team member engagement on behalf of senior business leaders,
Support a consistent cadence of communication by executive leaders to team members through a variety of channels: Town Halls, webinars, videos, written materials, and digital/interactive communications.
Work to capture the authentic voice of leadership in written communications.
Support in the delivery of sensitive messages during times of change or crisis
Seek opportunities to reinforce our culture of innovation and performance in everything that we do
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, public relations or related field
Experience:
10+ years’ experience in corporate and internal communications with a focus on executive communications, employee engagement, or DEI
Must have Soft Skills:
Strong/advanced MS Excel skills.
Experience with Google Workspace technology
Highly organized work style with a rigorous attention to detail and strong analytical ability
Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
Sound judgment and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information
