Summary:

  • We work with a cross-functional team across sales, product management, and client services to create a cohesive brand experience and build a loyal customer base.

  • As a Growth Marketing Specialist, you should have a strong grasp of current marketing tools and strategies and be able to lead consumer-focused marketing campaigns for our payments platform from concept to execution across multiple channels.

  • You will work with a cross-functional team across Marketing and Product Management to launch campaigns that drive growth in our parent customer segment through user acquisition and engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • User acquisition

  • Manages all aspects of “Back to School” marketing program to school districts

  • Promotes program to school districts to grow participation amongst client base

  • Refines strategy, approach, and content

  • Oversees print fulfillment program with fulfillment vendor and other members of Marketing team

  • Develops direct-to-consumer email campaigns to re-engage returning users and to engage new users for “Back to School” season. This includes weekly email campaign cadence, contests/promotional events, and social media complements

  • Leads on execution of campaigns, partnering with staff designer and members of the Analytics team to initiate campaigns to the right segments of our market at the right time

  • Reviews current tactics to bring qualified parent-users into the registration funnel throughout the school year and recommends new approaches

  • Customer lifecycle marketing

  • Develops approach and written content to ensure consistent communications with parent customer base to drive engagement, logins, and usage of MySchoolBucks platform

Emails include:

  • Welcome email

  • New user series

  • Invoice payment reminders

  • Category specific emails (new store, fund your meal account, donations)

  • Complete your registration / add a student

  • Defines target audiences for each campaign, oversees data segmentation & execution of campaigns

  • Partners with Product team and staff designer on email and social media content creation

  • Reviews campaign and user analytics to understand performance of marketing campaigns, better understand the customer and what resonates with them

  • Reviews user analytics to identify new, impactful areas to add lifecycle messaging

  • Consumer products & services - acquisition and engagement

  • Manages co-brand marketing campaigns & activities with select consumer-facing partners

  • Executes print, email, and web campaigns that advance joint goals of partners and MySchoolBucks

  • Leads user acquisition and growth campaigns for co-brand consumer/family debit card offering

  • Develops approach & content for new user acquisition campaigns via in-app and email messaging

  • Develops content for ongoing engagement/lifecycle campaigns to ensure retention and long-term value

  • Tests new tactics to increase user acquisition rates

  • Partners with VP, Payments and partner marketing team to launch co-brand campaigns, special promotions, contests, and incentives

  • Develops social media approach and content calendar for MySchoolBucks Facebook and Instagram pages

  • Provides written analysis on results of campaigns

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of consumer marketing experience

  • A highly creative, data-driven and analytical mind

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate

  • Demonstrable experience creating email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns

  • Experience in optimizing user funnels
