Facilities Assistant

Job Description:

  • Hiring a Facilities Associate, reporting to the Facilities Director.

  • Minimum Education Level: High School Graduate/GED

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma and 3 years of administrative experience required.

  • College education and 2 years of administrative experience preferred.

Work schedule:

  • M-F, 8a-5p; occasional overtime scheduled in advance

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Customer service and support

  • Shipping/receiving and distribution

  • Building access, closure and security

  • Setup and operation of audio/visual equipment for on-site conferences and seminars

  • Process financial transactions

  • Schedule student support staff

  • Communicate arriving/leaving logistics

  • Furniture setup and office moves

  • Physical facilities and systems support

  • Other duties as assigned

  • Mailroom or shipping/receiving experience would be a bonus"
