The Sourcing Specialist will be part of the North America Procurement Organization and will be responsible for supporting the implementation of the strategic sourcing plan for the Energy Category. This position will support a broad range of the company's sourcing needs across multiple sites in the region, include, in compliance to company's Procurement Policies to delivering savings and value creation across the enterprise by working with the Strategic Sourcing team and ensuring products and services are bought in accordance with commodity strategies.
Assist execution of sourcing strategies by performing needs assessment, market and supplier analysis for assigned categories
Support sourcing activities, RFQs, RFPs and negotiations with multiple suppliers, for Natural Gas and Electricity supply contracts, including PPAs, RECs, Gas Supply agreements
Commercial support for the implementation of energy efficiency and renewable initiatives.
Spend analysis and reporting, market intelligence, proposals and project evaluation.
Support with internal approvals process.
Collaborative work and continuous engagement with cross functional stakeholders such as Plant Energy leads, Plant Controllers, Region Energy leads, Sustainability and Strategy team, Region procurement team as well as with suppliers.
Bachelor's degree in in a business, finance, Industrial Engineering or technical discipline.
3 year's work experience in a procurement or commercial function in an electric utility, energy supplier, renewable energy developer or manufacturing company.
Energy markets understanding.
Strong organizational, planning and communication skills.
Strong analytical background and capacity to effectively summarize and report to internal stakeholders.
Advanced excel skills.
Exhibits strong sense of ownership, execution, prioritization and driving results.
Experience managing multiple projects and tasks.
