Job Description:

  • Onboard new services to SRE team, setup Oncall alert

  • Troubleshooting issues with these services via Daily Oncall alerts, issues communicated via Slack, email etc

  • Enhancing existing service's tech stack / configurations to get better throughput, reduce Oncall alerts

  • Capacity planning for the service, datasets etc

  • Recording Outages / Delay in Data and schedule Postmortems / RCA

  • 5+ years of production experience managing and supporting Big Data applications (from development to production)

  • Experience handling Big Data Environment like Kafka, Hadoop, Spark, Cassandra, ELK and experience with Kubernetes, AWS

  • Experience with at least one of the following languages and related development tools: (Python, Ruby, Java, Scala)

  • Build, monitor, troubleshoot complex data infrastructure – experience with monitoring & logging tools

  • Support the continuous development and deployment of multi service analytics applications

  • Develop tools and processes to automate the management of our systems and data

  • Passion for quality and attention to detail

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
