Job Description:

• Support Data Pipelines that ingest, transform and export data in a Prod environment

• Monitor daily report generation, availability of APIs and Web Portals

• Monitor the availability of key systems like Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Solr and MySQL.

• Perform upgrades to software to meet security and performance requirements.

• Monitor Data Ingestion and Exports from key systems

• Build Dashboards and Alerts for monitoring key services

Work Experience:

• Masters + 3 years (or) Bachelor's + 7 years

• Sr Engineer of Devops with strong background in Linux, Hadoop and Automation

Skills & Qualifications:

• Linux system administration, monitoring and troubleshooting

• Administration of Hadoop clusters with Cloudera or Hortonworks

• Automation with python, bash, ansible or puppet

Preferred Qualifications:

• Database administration for Oracle or MySQL or Postgres

• Container services (Docker (or) Kubernetes)

• Cloud Service provider management & provisioning ( AWS/GCP/Azure)

• Splunk or Kibana experience
