The contractor is an on-site position based in Woonsocket, RI, working in concert with Client marketing analytics team and supporting Marketing team initiatives. The position will focus on increasing understanding and maximizing the effectiveness of pharmacy marketing strategies by leveraging large datasets, analytics tools, statistical modeling, and business intelligence tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytics mindset with experience working in marketing analytics environment, processing large transactional data, developing statistical models, and presenting insights through business intelligence tools.
This person will be responsible for adhoc data analysis. The candidate will assess the request for information and develop the analysis and reporting to the business partners and make the recommendations to improve the marketing campaigns.
Key responsibilities will include generating report on media campaign performances, measuring the business impact of media campaigns, and analyzing pharmacy customer behaviors. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytics background with experience leveraging SQL/Python to solve business problems, using Tableau to generate business intelligence report, creating and organizing related tables, mining large data sets and using statistics to build synthetic control groups, develop statistical models and assessing the values of marketing programs, and extract insights from the analysis. Demonstrated self-direction and applied critical and creative thinking to business challenges is expected.
Collecting, preparing, manipulating, and aggregating large amounts of data using SQL, MS Excel, and Python
Setting up data feeds and developing Tableau reports
Initiating test designs, measuring the business impact of marketing campaigns
Evaluating business trends and leveraging internal/external data to make business recommendations
Refresh existing predictive models, and extract business insights from predictive models, e.g. Media Mix Models (MMM)
Applying critical and creative thinking to analytic challenges
4+ years of experience generating business insights through data and analysis with bachelorâ€™s degree; or 2+ years of experience with masterâ€™s degree or equivalent in an analytic discipline; or a PhD in an analytic discipline
2+ years working in media/marketing area and being familiar with Media Mix Model and web analytics tools, such as Adobe Analytics, and etc. Strong knowledge of regression analysis and multivariate analysis
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and strong oral and written communication skills High levels of self-motivation and attention to detail Expertise in SQL and Python or other programming languages (e.g. SAS, R) Solid background and experience in Excel and Power Point is required
Proficient in building dashboards in BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, and/or Power BI
