Project Details:
Data Migration supports Product Safety for special projects associated with the acquisition, database management and evaluation of composition, chemical safety information, and other compliance information to support the integration, assessment and regulatory compliance of raw materials and finished products in the Client product portfolio.
Key responsibilities:
Follow standardized strategy for record creation and document review to ensure data entered into SAP EHS is accurate and maintained with high quality standards in accordance with data models developed to support product safety, product stewardship, and chemical regulation compliance.
Summarize compliance data and create output reports.
Provide input to innovative approaches and continuous improvements to the entry and management of chemical, ingredient, raw material, and finished product chemical information.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience with SAP is required. Very good experience with Excel required (v-lookups, pivot tables).
A Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, biomedical or other equivalent technical field and 1-2 years relevant experience.
Strong IT literacy and familiarity with organizing large sets of chemical safety and regulatory data, research/product safety information and the entering of these data into SAP EHS or similar type databases.
Attention to detail with an ability to understand the interconnectivity of data.
Ability to independently prioritize work tasks and adjust quickly to changing project priorities.
Strong interpersonal communication and technical writing skills with demonstrated proficiency in working effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
Proven ability to communicate in written and spoken English.
Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated proficiency in working within SAP EHS database environments
Demonstrated proficiency in working with Microsoft programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, etc.).
Experience with working with chemical safety regulations, and/or product regulations (Cosmetic, Medical Device, Pesticide) globally.
Experience in an organization with product safety and stewardship as a compliance function.
