Job Description:

Responsible for overseeing Application systems, architecture, design, data workflow, logical processes, and system interfaces. Assure synergy between software and hardware architecture to maximize that relationship. Determine and develop architectural approaches and solutions, conduct business reviews, document current systems, and develop recommendations on how to proceed with the applications..

Job Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for planning, implementation, and growth of the GCP and AWS cloud infrastructure utilized by the DAM&E program to host a suite of Informatica data governance applications.

  • Work alongside Enterprise Architecture, Security Architecture, and Cloud Engineering teams to design, develop, and implement cloud native systems, scalable cloud services, network connectivity, and APIs to support Informatica application use cases and business needs.

  • Ensure necessary system security by implementing server hardening standards, gold images, patches, and integrations with enterprise software, applications, and agents.

  • Design and build High Availability processes and disaster recovery environments, including buildouts, site setup, maintenance, and support, to ensure environment resiliency.

  • Review functional and non-functional requirements that drive GCP and AWS solution design and ensure that solution architecture and design is aligned with target Enterprise Reference Architectures and Design Principles.

  • Identify and communicate risks regarding solution deviations from Enterprise Architecture standards and reference architecture, engaging the Enterprise Architecture team and relevant governance groups as needed.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent combination of education and applicable job experience


  • 6+ years of experience with implementation, migrations, and upgrades in an GCP, AWS, or Azure Cloud environment (GCP and AWS highly preferred).

  • 3+ years of experience working with cloud deployment (Terraform, CloudFormation, Chef, Ansible) and cloud scripting languages (Python, Node.js).

  • Previous exposure to cloud serverless solutions (S3, CloudFront, API Gateway, Lambda Functions, Elastic ache, SQS, MQ).

  • Experience working with cloud database services (RDS, Cloud SQL, DynamoDB, Document DB).

Must have Soft Skills:

  • Ability to function in complex environments and clarify/convey data security and privacy concepts and terminology to stakeholders.

  • Self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity and able to influence and motivate without direct authority.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical approach to problem solving, highly collaborative, and constructive in driving results and resolving conflicts

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Prior experience working in Financial Services and/or Financial Technology organizations is highly desired.
