Job Description:

  • Client is a business unit within client that assists Medicare eligible retirees to select appropriate Medicare health plans.

  • A Sales and Service Customer Service Associate will handle any customer who has no existing enrollment within ARHS.

  • The CSA responsibilities include: scheduling participants for their appointment with a Benefit Advisor, answering customer inquiries, and understanding basic Medicare. 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Making outbound calls to confirm/reschedule participant’s appointment with a Benefit Advisor. 

  • Answer inbound phone calls to schedule appointments for participants to speak to a Benefit Advisor 

  • Answer inbound phone calls pertaining to the status of an application or general customer inquires. 

  • Respond to instant live chat requests from customers. 

  • Actively listening to participants to understand both verbal and non-verbal queues. 

  • Researching options in proprietary client tools and elsewhere on the internet. 

  • Demonstrating sustained confidence and resilience during challenging interactions. 

  • Fully and accurately documenting all conversations and actions taken on each interaction. 

  • Working with benefit advisors and enrollment specialists, assisting them with their work load during periods of high call volume. 

Qualifications for a Customer Service Representative: 

  • Possess ability to talk and efficiently type simultaneously. 

  • Strong keyboarding skills and desktop navigation. 

  • Proven success in maintaining a calm and professional demeanor in a fast paced business environment. 

  • Meets or exceeds all key performance indicators. 

  • Strong written and verbal communication, customer service and rapport building skills. 

  • Aptitude for understanding details of insurance or complex information. 

  • Takes initiative and demonstrates strong problem solving skills. 

  • Experience and comfort using Microsoft Word, Excel, telephony, internet and computer tools. 

  • Must successfully completely a 10-day paid training course with no days missed.  

  • Must have 100mbps speed, no wireless, strong internet connectivity
