  • The Utah Retirement Services team answers inbound phone calls from Client Financial Advisors (FA) and Client Service Associates (CSA).

  • Our team provides guidance regarding the Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA) and Qualified Retirement Plans accounts; answering questions related to the types of accounts, contributions and distributions rules and regulations, the tax reporting requirements, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) rules and regulations, and the Client policies, and procedures.

  • The Client Retirement Services department provides a superior foundation for building a professional career within the Financial Services industry a place for people to learn, to achieve, and to grow.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming phone calls from Financial Advisors and their Associates regarding all IRA and qualified plan inquiries within their book-of-business; and provide guidance regarding the IRS rules and regulations.

  • Establish and maintain effective relationships to deliver world class service to our Financial Advisors

  • Assist in special projects periodically throughout the year as IRS regulations change

  • Utilize various internal and external resources and tools to provide information and resolve issues

  • Follow established procedures to process written requests, route processing requests to the appropriate processing teams, and to escalate processing inquiries when needed

Qualifications & skills desired:

  • Basic IRA knowledge or 3 years of relevant work experience

  • Quick learner; strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Customer service background

  • Detail oriented

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, etc.
