The Communications Manager will work with the Head of Communications to support the Diversity & Inclusion teams overall communication efforts, with an emphasis on Firms Employee Network, in delivering our DEI strategy through employee engagement.
This individual will partner with leaders from all levels across the Firm to manage and deliver against the communications goals of the Employee Networks, driving education and awareness of diversity and inclusion initiatives and programs.
This individual may also support other areas of D&I execution as needed.
This position requires an understanding of nuanced communications, and excellent relationship skills.
The position also requires attention to detail, organization, high-volume output, and experience with digital media platforms such as JIVE and Adobe.
This leader must be culturally fluent and sensitive to the needs of various diverse communities both within and across society at large.
Manage communication efforts for Firmwide Employee Networks.
Champion new, creative ideas to communicate across the Firm.
Create messaging and communications that are tailored to the audience and written in a simple to understand yet engaging, relatable, and authentic way.
Ensure consistency among messaging and alignment with brand standards
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to highlight our commitment to engage, inspire and empower our talent, clients, and communities.
Key partners include: Diversity and Inclusion Business Advisors, Corporate Communications, Marketing, HR, and Talent Management.
Ensure that Employee Network messaging aligns with overall Firm D&I efforts and strategy.
Help garner insights across Employee Network campaigns and apply learnings to optimize future campaigns.
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Human Resources, Business or a related field, or additional work experience in lieu of a degree.
5-7 years professional work experience.
Skilled in PowerPoint, Outlook, JIVE, Salesforce, Adobe.
Ability to influence and drive positive change as an effective business partner.
Strong experience in project management across multiple business units/stakeholders.
Impeccable writing and communication skills.
Experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion theories and practices.
