Detailed Job Description

• 3-5 years experience running/dressing cables, preferably in a lab/data center environment.

• Experience working with Equipment racks. Racking and stacking network equipment up to 50lbs.

• Mechanically sound to be able to work independently on projects.

• Able to work on ladders at a max height of 10?

• Experience with hand tools

• Drill

• Wrenches

• Experience working with Windows/MS Office (Word, Excel required, Visio and PPT a plus)

• Experience configuring devices via terminal (CLI) or through browser

• Able to distinguish different cables and their uses.

• CAT5

• COAX

• USB

• Serial

• Experience with creating and maintaining documentation

Not Required but desired:

• Cable Plant experience (CMTS, DOCSIS, COAX)

• Networking background (Valid CCNA/CCNE, Network +)

• WiFi Troubleshooting experience

• Experience with Air Magnet or handheld tools

• Linux Experience

• Basic Commands

• Bash Scripting

• Basic MAC OS X Experience

• Experience with Remote Access Configuration

• MikroTik RouterOS Experience
