Responsibilities:

• Responsible for coordinating timely settlement of bank loan trade activity with multiple parties.

• Heavy external phone and email in addition to internal team floor communication. 

• Cultivates effective working relationships with settlement parties.

• Processes trade instruction received from Investment Manager into a recordkeeping system. 

• Resolves manual and automated processing errors as needed.

• Maintains clear and concise status comments on unsettled trade activity.

• Delivers material updates to clients on a regularly scheduled and ad hoc basis.

Education:

• BS or BA degree in Finance, Economics, or related discipline.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of investment management operations experience – technical knowledge of bank loan settlements and trade processing preferred

• Skills: Proficiency with Visio, Technical knowledge of LSTA/LMA par/distressed processing and settlements.

• Hands-on experience: ClearPar, CorTrade, and WSO systems.

• Background: Syndicated bank loan operations – particularly around process layout, design/redesign, and VBA coding.
