Job Description:

AV Support Coordinator

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide virtual, hybrid, and on-site event support

  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills

  • Partner with lead event technician on event needs

  • Effectively record meetings and events using best practices

  • Knowledge of audio and video signal flows

  • Ability to solve technical problems under pressure

  • Set up and operate professional cameras and lighting for recording, videoconferencing and webcasting

  • Operation of digital audio mixers such as Allen & Health

  • Understanding livestreaming workflows and protocols

  • Work cross functionally to align and schedule upcoming live events

  • Track project assignments and adjust personal schedule based on project priorities

  • Communicate with client AV managers on project status and or issues

  • Effectively handle special project requests

  • Edit and upload post event recordings for VOD

  • Able to work and support events autonomously

  • Assists in evaluation of new technology

  • Constantly innovating technology and practice & procedures

  • Ability to travel offsite to support remote events

  • Ability to work outside of normal work hours to provide event support

  • Can lift 25+ Pounds

Technical:          

  • Skilled in providing technical support on different video conferencing platforms (e.g Chime, WebEx, Adobe Connect)

  • General Knowledge of Audio Signal Flow and Audio Mixing

  • General Knowledge of Video over IP, Video Switching, and Video Routing

  • Experience with streaming software such as OBS and Wirecast

  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and find the root cause

  • General Knowledge of audio and video networking such as Dante

  • Skilled working with professional cameras such Cannon and Blackmagic

  • Able to work on video edits utilizing adobe premier

  • Working knowledge of windows 10

  • Working knowledge of mac os

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office

Projects:

  • Run live events and meeting

  • Work on Virtual Event improvements and best practices

  • Manage Small Projects

  • Is responsible for projects that impact multiple sites or teams

  • Is able to discuss technical issues with non- technical customers, and represent the AV organization

  • Exercises good business judgment when making decisions and knows when to escalate higher- level decisions

Base Qualifications:         

  • High School Education
