Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own Client’s global ASO strategy across current and future marketplaces

  • Manage agency(ies) to drive global store growth

  • Work alongside the owned and paid app user acquisition teams to create a strategic ASO framework and roadmap to drive business priorities for high impact growth initiatives

  • Drive ASO testing methodology & experimentation to maximize KPIs

  • Partner with Client Content Marketing in addition to Apple, Google and other store partners to develop engaging stories to drive user acquisition and re-engage existing app users

  • Develop and maintain cross-store In-App Event and Custom Product Page calendars and

  • strategies to drive channel KPIs and align with cross-partner

  • Work closely with the paid marketing team for experimentation opportunities and initiatives to drive incremental growth

  • Act as point person for the App Marketing team for all content related calendars and approvals

  • Support impact measurement initiatives and work alongside data teams to build measurement solutions

  • Write release notes, In-App Event copy and more as needed

  • Execute A/B tests, In-App Event and CPP roll-out and partner with tech on additional release needs

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years ASO experience on a global scale, with a proven track record of developing and implementing strategies, partnering with agencies, internal stakeholders and the app stores to grow mobile audiences.

  • Experience across both branded and non-branded terms, and how to create impact for apps that are relevant for a large variety of non-branded search terms.

  • Agency or client-side experience growing organic installs and improving conversion for all traffic sources and understanding down-stream impacts.

  • Up to date on the latest Store features for both the App and Google Play stores.

  • You love testing and thinking of out of the box strategies.

  • Experience working with App Store Connect and Google Play Developer console is a must.

  • Along with App Store optimization tools like AppAnnie and 3 rd party MMPs such as Kochava.

  • Proven understanding of how app stores operate and what drives performance

  • Experience running ASO strategies across multiple global markets and an understanding about cultural localization and the role it plays in the way we approach online marketing

  • Clear, concise and persuasive verbal and written communication. Ability to convey strategy and prioritization to senior stakeholders.

  • A passion for storytelling

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or graduate degree

  • Conversion and retention marketing experience in a membership model business

  • Experience working with various cross-functional partners (Technology, Creative, User Experience, Media Planning) to develop assets and plans for optimization

  • Past experience in a content creation role

  • Fluent/Proficient in a second language -- German, French, or Japanese – would be helpful
