  • Application Support Analyst will validate requests, coordinate around issues, and traffic demand from the business to relevant support staff.  They link the individual to various services and applications within the IT stack.  It’s their job to make sure the support staff is well-organized and that all requests and incidents are responded to quickly and efficiently.  This can include communicating with various groups and teams in the organization to make sure everyone is on the same page as well as ensuring the scope of work from the business is intelligible and constructive.

  • The Application Support Analyst needs to excel in a fast-paced and challenging work environment. There is always something that needs attention, more often many things, so the ideal Application Support Analyst must be comfortable in a stressful atmosphere.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to both internal teams and business users

  • Collecting and analyzing feedback from customers and other business users to gauge satisfaction and success

  • Collaborating with clients and team members on support tickets to ensure requirements are both understood and met

  • Delegating tasks to appropriate team members and follow up on the completion of those tasks.

  • Managing deadlines and progress across the team to ensure that projects and requests are delivered on time and on budget

  • Organizing requirements and processing requests and incidents from the business to ensure proper routing and resolution

  • Overseeing the delivery of support and making adjustments as necessary to ensure they are delivered to specifications and high standards

  • Participate in support meetings and propose improvements if necessary

  • Provide reports and documentation that demonstrate the effectiveness of overall team solutioning.

  • Document all Support Team processes and workflows

  • Supervise current support requests and incidents and coordinate all team members to keep workflow on track

  • Manage support-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed, and stored

  • Direct support correspondences by preparing and reviewing support requests, memos, meeting minutes, and emails

  • Communicate with clients to identify and define request requirements, scope, and objectives

  • Take meeting minutes for meetings with customers and IT team members.

  • Previous use of Ticketing system
