​Job Description:

• We are looking for a talented technical writer (12-month contract) to help create and build out our technical and non-technical documentation for a new SDK product. You will report to the Director of Knowledge Management and Learning and be a core part of the product operations team.

• You are highly effective at communicating highly technical documentation to diverse audiences. We are looking for a self-starter who thrives under pressure and enjoys team successes.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end documentation process including authoring, editing, reviewing, publishing and maintaining content.

• Plan, schedule, and track documentation work to meet product release dates and client deliverables.

• Gather customer feedback on documentation to improve usability.

• Monitor metrics on the usage of documentation.

Education:

• Bachelor Degree in Education or related work experience

Experience:

• Must have 5+ years of technical writing experience, preferably in a technical domain.

• Experience working with Agile/Scrum software development teams.

• Working knowledge of basic office tools, including MS Office, Jira, Confluence, Google Docs/Drive, Slack, screen shot technology.

• Experience working cross-departmentally to communicate the nuts and bolts of a product.

Must have Soft Skills:

• Excellent English written and verbal communications.

• Proven ability to develop comprehensive and accurate documentation and clear and useful content for analysts and/or Engineers.

• Proven ability to work independently, collaboratively, and lead multiple projects/tasks in a cross-disciplinary team.

• Flexibility to adjust to an evolving role and steady change within our fast-growing company.

Nice to haves (bonus skills - these are not required, but are a plus):

• Knowledge of Python, DITA, Visual Studio.

• Experience using graphical tools including Photoshop, Gimp / Inkscape – Illustrator.

• Experience in Ad Tech.

• Experience working with a CMS
