Strongly serve and support the Product Owner and Development Team in their quest to do everything possible to delight customers
Understand how the product owner’s vision translates to user stories
Work with product manager to handle backlog, new requests, and changes
Support the Product Owner, especially with respect to refining (aka grooming) and managing the product backlog.
Track technical dependences and related features in order to best guide team on day-day delivery activities
Provide all support to the team using a servant leadership style and leading by example. This person should personify Scrum and Agile.
Measure velocity and burn down rate to help team improve planning
Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization
Facilitate internal communicate and effective collaboration.
Resolve conflicts, and remove roadblocks that occur, to ensure 100% commitments are achieved.
Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint
Help build a product environment where team members “own” the product
Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis of healing and problem solving.
Facilitate getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work.
Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution
Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information
First level Scrum Master certification (PSM I, CSM )
Second or Third level Scrum Master certification (PSM II, PSM III, CSP, CTC) is a plus
Min 3 years experience leading agile teams as scrum master role
Min 3 years' experience building and/or maintaining eCommerce systems
Knowledge of agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc.
Knowledge of other Agile approaches, like: Kanban, Crystal, FDD, XP, etc is a plus
Should have knowledge about Agile techniques like: User Stories, Continuous Integration, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games
Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
Knowledge of numerous well documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach(example: numerous Burndown techniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc)
The ability to distinguish between what "is Scrum" what is "not Scrum"
B2B eCommerce and/or supply chain, distribution industry experience a plus
