The Supervisor Research and Reconciliation will be responsible for the management of all research/inquiries and final resolutions of any situations in which Client and a customer’s financial books are not aligned.
They will interface with other internal teams (Sales and Operations) to address and resolve any account discrepancies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):
Supervises a team of associates in the Trade Accounts Receivable (Trade AR) department and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training associates; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising associate performance; rewarding and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems; and ensuring career development and succession planning.
Manage assigned team members to investigate/research outstanding items not resolved in full and/or any situation in which Client and customer books do not align (this includes input from automated system, account receivables/collections team members, and/or direct customer input).
Provide guidance to assigned team members on how to resolve open inquiries/tickets (e.g., review internal documentation, speak to Customer Service, connect with appropriate Operations team associate, etc.)
Ensure assigned team members reconcile all post payment issues.
Coach assigned team members to meet and exceed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to achieve a high customer experience.
Review, recommend, and align on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with manager and set expectations for the team.
Work with manager to manage assigned team members to defined KPIs and team goals.
Partner with internal teams (Sales and Operations) as necessary to meet customer expectations for effective resolution of customer disputes.

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years’ job-related experience and/or training required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Supervisory experience preferred.
