Job Description:

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Ability to handle large volume of import shipments

• Follow up with all import shipments as required by federal agencies

• Comply with established company and department policy and procedures

• Maintain duty calculation spreadsheets and entry/documentation check lists as required

• Ability to prioritize and manage time sensitive tasks

• Analyze, identify and provide solutions to day to day work related issues

• Maintain a good track record in keeping clearance errors to less than 2% per month

• Ability to work with a diverse team

• Performa additional duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate degree or 2 years of college with coursework in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience

• 2 years of professional experience filing import entry documents

• ACE (Editrade/Descartes software knowledge preferred)

• 5 + years of professional experience working with various ocean and air carriers and freight forwarders /consolidators/trucking companies

• Knowledge and experience with FDA Prior Notice required

• Knowledge and experience filing ISF required

• Strong understanding of supply chain requirements, processed and tracking of import shipments

• Microsoft Office proficiency required

• Strong attention to detail and high level of data accuracy

• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

• Must have effective interpersonal and customer service skills
