Job Description 

HYBRID ROLE: TRAINING WILL BE DONE IN PERSON. WORKING CAN BE DONE ON SITE OR REMOTE

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year university or college in Accounting, or a related field.

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.

• Fundamental accounting knowledge and journal entry experience required.

• Experience in a manufacturing organization preferred.

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and in 10 key operation.

• Must be able to communicate effectively with others at all levels of the organization.

• Must have the ability to read and write complex instructions, correspondence, and memos.

• Must be able to work and train remotely, manage time accordingly to achieve deadlines, and proactively seek training when it is needed.

• Performs professional accounting work involving compilation, consolidation and analysis of financial data. May include any or all of the following: ledgers and

• preparation of journal entries; fixed asset or inventory accounting; preparation of trial balance or financial statements; cost accounting; bank account reconciliation and other related areas.

• Performs general or cost accounting activities requiring some insight into the 'why' as well as the 'how'.

• Develops internal reports as required. Analyzes trends in plant overhead and sales/gross profit. Prepares balance sheet analysis. Applies accounting techniques and standard practices to the classification and recording of financial transactions.

• Specifics of job content will vary from preparing journal entries, checking supporting entries, to carrying out well-defined steps in cost accounting. Coordinates timely completion of month-end closing. does not permit any Contract Employee to operate motor vehicles. 5+ years of experience.
